Wanwan blends the robust structure of old sans serif styles (Min-Buri) with the nimble curves of serif styles (Buri). With elegantly exaggerated dense centres and elongated vowels, it also deliberately introduces the small inky beaks of the phototypesetting era to add a touch of imaginary nostalgia. The typeface aims to embody a synergy of rigour, playfulness, nostalgia, and eccentricity. Therefore, Wanwan is appropriate for a range of display applications, such as serious manifestos, practical hobby book titles, sophisticated essays, and poetic classics.

Wanwan Bold is currently in development. The completed display family will include Bold, Regular, Light and Thin. Crowdfunding is targeted for 2023.

서체 완완은 옛 민부리체의 견고한 구조와 부리체의 날렵한 곡선을 결합했습니다. 조밀한 중앙부와 길게 뻗은 모음이 특징인 서체 완완은 사진식자 시대의 활자들이 갖고 있는 작은 인쇄여분띠를 의도적으로 도입하여 가상의 향수를 불러일으킵니다. 이 서체는 엄격하면서도 장난스럽고, 향수를 불러일으키면서도 기발한 면이 있는 복합적인 인상을 구현합니다. 완완은 진지한 선언문, 실용적인 취미 서적 제목, 세련된 에세이, 서정적인 고전 등 다양한 제목용 목적에 적합합니다.

완완 볼드는 현재 개발 중입니다. 완성된 제목용 제품군에는 볼드, 레귤러, 라이트, 씬이 포함될 예정입니다. 2023년 내 크라우드 펀딩을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
